THIS PAINTING IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY (Upper Marlboro, Maryland).  CONTACT SANKOFA BEFORE MAKING THIS PURCHASE.

Email:  modelvillage@sankofaintl.org

Dimensions:  35" x 33"

This piece was painted in Ghana by the painter known as Baba, and framed in the USA.    To view a 5-minute video on Baba, click the link below.  Every dollar, from your purchase, goes to Africa to help Baba meet basic needs, and feed and educate needy children for free.

You may detect minor flaws in the artwork (e.g. a spec of dust or sand on the canvas) due to the harsh conditions under which it was painted.  Such flaws confirm the authenticity of the artwork and demonstrate the pure talent of the painter.

The plan is to develop an art gallery, in Ghana, whereby Baba can paint and train needy children.  Interested?  Contact Sankofa – modelvillage@sankofaintl.org
